Original Infant Support Cushion

With the Infant Support Cushion, the ERGObaby Carrier is the only carrier parents will ever need, from newborn to toddler. The Support Cushion is specially padded and shaped, and can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and readjusted or folded to pad just the right places for your infant. Your infant is then cradled in a cozy, protected environment. With the Original Infant Support Cushion, your baby is supported with both feet to one side in a sling-like, cradle position. The Infant Insert heart2heart supports infants in the vertical position, recently determined to be ideal for protecting baby’s developing hips and spine. The Original Infant Support Cushion or the Infant Insert can be used for babies from newborn to around four to six months. Parents can remain attentive to their baby’s needs, and at the same time continue daily activities.

While wearing babies in the vertical front carry position, ERGObaby advocates facing the baby inward, towards the parent. Dr. Evelin Kirkilionis describes it best in her book “A Baby Wants To Be Carried”:

“Infants in outward-facing orientations can’t turn away from surrounding stimuli...that become overwhelming.
